Our air cleaners are suitable for a wide range of applications, including:
• General commercial and industrial use
• Environments with light to heavy odors
• Clean rooms and sterile manufacturing
• Healthcare facilities
• Spaces with heavy particulate loads

View our case studies to see how Blue Ox has improved the air quality in businesses that fall under these application types.

Choose based on:
• Required airflow (CFM rating)
• Type of contaminants (dust, smoke, odors, etc.)
• Space size
• Specific application (general use, odor control, clean room, heavy particulate)

Each product is designed to meet specific needs. Our team can help you choose the best solution for your workspace. Refer to our model comparison chart to match your needs with the appropriate unit or contact our sales team.

General use: Includes a pleated pre-filter and a pocket bag filter. Suitable for dust or smoke without odors.
Lite odor control (CF): Adds a 2" Charcoal afterfilter to the general setup. Good for light odors.
Extra odor control (CC): Uses a 95% pocket bag filter and a larger Carbon Module. Ideal for heavy odors.
Clean room (HE): Includes a HEPA afterfilter for the highest level of air cleaning, suitable for sterile environments.

CFM ratings range from 825 to 7,600 across our product line. Higher CFM indicates more air processed per minute. For example, the OX1100 processes 1,100 CFM, while the OX7600-2x3 can handle 7,600 CFM.

Our systems use various combinations of:
• Pleated pre-filters (1" or 4")
• Pocket bag filters (65% or 95% efficiency)
• Carbon filters or modules
• HEPA filters
• Wrap-around filters

The sound levels of the air filtration systems range from 48dB to 82dB when measured at a distance of 5 feet, typically on their highest settings.

To put this into perspective:
• 40-50dB is comparable to a quiet library or a refrigerator hum.
• 60-70dB is similar to normal conversation or an air conditioning unit. • 70-80dB is like a vacuum cleaner or a busy street.
• 80-90dB is equivalent to a food blender or heavy traffic.

When choosing a system, consider the environment where it will be used and any noise level restrictions that may apply. If noise is a concern, you might want to opt for one of the quieter models or consider additional noise reduction measures in the installation area.

A HEPA filter is a high-efficiency particulate air filter that removes 99.97% of particles. It's necessary in clean room environments, hospitals, and sterile manufacturing settings where the highest level of air purity is required.

Wrap-around filters are low-efficiency pre-filters designed to extend the life of the main pre-filter in applications with large particulate or high particulate loads. They can be cleaned rather than replaced, increasing the overall system efficiency.
